RUUD Coffee was founded by Francis Cosgrave, an entrepreneur with a lifelong passion for exceptional coffee, hospitality and creating memorable customer experiences.
Inspired by the thriving coffee cultures of cities including London, Milan, Tokyo and the American West Coast, Francis set out to build a coffee brand that delivers quality, consistency and character in every cup.
After launching his first coffee venture in 2024 and receiving an overwhelmingly positive response from customers, Francis recognised an opportunity to create a distinctive coffee brand focused on premium roasting, exceptional service and a genuine love of coffee. This vision led to the creation of RUUD Coffee in 2025.
Today, Francis continues to lead RUUD Coffee with a commitment to sourcing quality beans, developing unique blends and making great coffee more accessible to coffee lovers, cafés, restaurants and businesses throughout the UK.
